What Are you most proud of?
What I am most proud of for this video is that when I was saying my lines I actually understood what I was saying and what lauren was saying. I didn't feel like we were reading from a script but it felt more like a casual conversation. Looking over the video I realize that I said a few things differently that were not the same as on the script but at the time of recording I did not realize this. I feel that if I was just saying what I memorized from a script then I would not have made that change or I would have noticed I said something different at the time of recording. This was definitely the best spanish conversation I have had including 9th grade spanish.
Describe something your partner did that encouraged you in preparing for this.
Some Things that lauren did that encouraged me to prepare for this is that she really wanted this to be a perfect video. A video with multiple camera angles, background music, sound effects, and generally a very cinematic experience. And she would acanolay push me with the fact that if i did not study the scrip enough then the whole video would fail and I would be mostly my fault. So this made sure that I studied the script a lot.

For my lines it is some what hard to find examples that I would use in real life unless i actually became a hitman. But there are still some lines I could use.
First one is where I say: “I respectfully refuse”. I said this line mainly because I wanted to make hidden joke about a quentin tarantino film. But I could definitely see myself using this line in real life because in my opinion it's the most passive aggressive way to say no. If there is ever a situation where someone keeps asking me and I say no but the person keeps asking I can say this and It would somewhat show that I’m getting sick of this person.
Second line is: “Well I hope you are not going to kill Richard K. Stephens, age: 64, height: 6’4” Occupation: Politician.”
I think this line would be useful not for the fact that i'm going to kill someone but where I am describing the person. In real life If I find myself separated from friends or family in a place i'm unfamiliar with directions I can use this to ask someone if he/she has seen the person i’m looking for.
3rd example i can use is generally anywhere in the script where i'm talking about hitmaning and taking out the target. Mainly in the beginning where I come up to lurain and she asks me what i'm doing and responding with that i'm going to take out this target. When I airsoft at fields with open maps I tend to walk up on teammates just lying in the middle of a bush and I ask them similar things like “What are you doing here?”, “who are you going to attack?”, and “Do you need help?”. There was this one time where I was airsofting and I was told to go off alone and scout the other team. I got to a good hidden spot and starting watching the other team's moves and then out of nowhere a team mate shows making a lot of nose. I have a similar conversation that I did for the spanish video but this time at the end i said “kid get lost you are going to get us both exposed”.
Fourth example is when I said “sure you are” in a sarcastic tone. I think being able to say things in a sarcastic tone is a good tool to deny something someone said but sound like you don't care that what they said was not true and still sound friendly.
Last example is where I am asking questions about Marsellus Wallace. It were I can ask questions to someone about someone. Like why is my friend hanging out with this other guy and not me. What's so special about him.
If you were to assign a letter grade to yourself, what would you give yourself? Why?
I I were to give myself a grade for this I would give myself a B. It's not a A because for the video I feel like we did not show enough emotion. In my opinion it sounded very boring when really it shouldn't be, it's a great fun script. And this reflection i’m doing right now. The question i just had to answer about 5 different ways i could use this in real life is very hard to answer due to the fact that our script is very unique.
But it's not a C grade because it is one of the more unique scripts out there that wasn't boring on paper. And also the time we put into making just the video ( although a lot of that was laurn doing, Shout Out to her for trying to make everything perfect, it make us push harder for a better midterm)
