Macbeth Proposal
In the book ‘macbeth’ there is a problem that start to slowly get out of control and backfire. Macbeth is angry that he is not becoming the new king of scotland and he is very desperate for power. So what he choses to do is kill king duncan and take his place as king. He thinks this will be quick and easy. So he kills duncan and becomes the new king. But soon after the killing people start to question macbeth and think he did the killing. So macbeth has to start killing everyone that questions him so he can keep his power as king. Things start to get really bad when people flee the country knowing that macbeth has been doing all this killings and start to form armies to overthrow macbeth which later on they do. The problem is that macbeth is killing too many people to just get overthrown making all the killings meaningless knowing macbeth will get overthrown.
My first solution to this problem is to figure out if the current king is doing anything bad that are against his power limits. If there is something then tell the whole public about it. They will get mad at the king and overthrow him for you and macbeth will get the power he wants without anyone questioning him and him not killing anyone. Because the problem with just killing the king is that people will now never know what he actually did. They couldn't figure out if the king was good and bad, people will take sides and soon a civil war would break out and that would kill many. So that's why tell the people about the kings doings and the sudden change of power will make sense to everyone.
My alternative solution to this is what if you couldn't find any evidence of the king doing anything bad so the public wouldn't overthrow. If you try to spread false information some people will believe it and some people will not. And again people will take sides leading to a civil war but only this time you have no power at all. In that case and macbeth is still desperate for power then he should move to another country. Leave scotland be and find another country that has a king that can be overthrown by the public. Macbeth gets the power he wants in another country while everyone back in scotland is at peace so it's a win - win situation.
During this time period killing someone and getting away at first is pretty easy. So if someone wanted power (macbeth) all he would have to do is just kill the king (duncan) and take his spot. But as you know when that happens a chain of events unfolds and many lives are taken. So a good way to prevent all of this happening is just to make sure that the king is very safe. He should have guards everywhere 24/7 and they should not be sleeping. If the guards need a break then change them out every few hours. This would just prevent the king being killed and starting the events. Another thing they could do is have some ease ready to be the new king just in case if the king somehow still got killed. So even if macbeth killed the king he would not become the king and someone who the king trusts is the new king.
